We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional results to our clients.

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with at least 3+ years of experience to join our Kent, Washington office. This role offers a mix of office, remote, and site visit work. You will be responsible for managing projects, executing complex designs, and working closely with our Principal Engineer and drafting team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Manage projects from design through construction, ensuring all project expectations are met and schedules maintained.
  • Structural Design: Perform structural design calculations, develop detailed specifications, and produce drawings for proposed solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with the Principal Engineer, junior engineers, and drafting personnel to coordinate drawings and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Client Coordination: Act as a point of contact for clients, managing project needs and communicating recommendations clearly.
  • Construction Administration (CA): Visit project sites to perform CA services, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure compliance with design documents
Qualifications
  • Education: B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional building design experience.
  • Licensure: P.E. or S.E. preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in wood, steel, concrete, and masonry design.
  • Soft Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in both office and remote environments.
