Join us for the SEAOC 2026 Annual Convention, August 26–28, at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. This three-day event brings together structural engineers from across California and beyond for technical sessions, networking, and the annual SEE Awards and College of Fellows Induction ceremony.
Program at a Glance
Wednesday, August 26 Board and committee meetings run throughout the day, followed by the Opening Keynote at 4:00 PM, a Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall, and the Young Members Social in the evening.
Thursday, August 27 Hot breakfast in the Exhibit Hall, followed by morning and afternoon technical session blocks, the SEAOC Business Lunch, the SEE Awards and Fellows Induction Reception, and the Dinner and Party at Topgolf.
Friday, August 28 Hot breakfast in the Exhibit Hall, morning and afternoon technical session blocks, lunch, the Distinguished Fellows Lecture, Closing Plenary, Special Receptions, President's Cup, and Closing Party.
Registration
Registration is available at several levels to fit your needs, including full Member Registration, Young Member, Pathways Participant, Non-Member, Exhibitor/Sponsor, Technical Only (Thursday and Friday or single day), and Evening Companion Pass. Full member registration includes all meals, technical sessions, and evening events throughout the convention.
Early bird pricing is available through June 19. Register by that date to get the best rate!
FAQs
What is the credit card fee? A credit card fee of 1.9% of the subtotal is applied to all transactions through Pheedloop, the platform that hosts convention registration.
How old do you have to be to register as a young member? You must be under 35 years old at the time of the convention to be eligible for the Young Member (Ashraf's) registration rate.
Can I buy a companion pass later? Yes. You may purchase an Evening Companion Pass any time after completing your own registration and before the convention begins.
What is the cancellation policy? Cancellations are subject to a $50 fee. You may alternatively transfer your registration to a colleague for $25, provided the transfer is requested before your name badge is printed at the convention. The new registrant must have the same membership status as the original registrant, or pay any difference in registration fees. All cancellation and transfer requests should be sent to seaocconvention@seaoc.org. Cancellations must be requested by Wednesday, August 19, 2026 to receive a refund.
