There is one position and the incumbent will be located in Burbank or another location to be determined in the southern California region.

The Senior Construction Inspector will perform technical construction inspections of architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements during construction or alternation of judicial branch building and facilities. The projects inspected by this position will primarily be facility modifications in existing, operating court facilities. o Valid certification as a Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 General Inspector by the Division of the State Architect
o Possession of a certificate in general building construction, inspection, or code enforcement from the American Construction Inspector’s Association or other similar association or regulatory governmental organization.
o Current registration as an architect or engineer (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical).


Preferred qualifications include certifications:
• By OSHPD as an “A” Licensed inspector or
• By DSA as a Class 1 or Class 2 inspector or
• By ICC as a Commercial Combination inspector.

Preferred experience is:
• Five years as a full-time inspector on major projects or
• Five years as a lead inspector
